MOUNT SAINT JOSEPH ACADEMY offers Seventh Grade Practice Entrance Examination on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 120 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown PA 19031. $45 non-refundable test registration fee payable online. The Pre-HSPT (high school placement test) is a seventh grade edition of the actual Scholarship/Entrance Exam given to eighth grade applicants. It is scored with seventh grade norms. The purpose of the test is for students to become acquainted with the test format and to gain insight into strengths and weaknesses. Register online only at www.msjacad.org. Registration begins on January 3, 2012 and ends on March 26, 2012. You will receive registration and payment confirmation via email. More info is available online.

Journey's Way, a division of Intercommunity Action, offers a wide array of innovative resources and programs for Philadelphians 55+ to enrich their lives in their communities and support them through life's challenges.
We are currently looking for an On-Call Program Assistant to join the staff at Adult Day Services at Journey's Way. This is a flexible part-time job that would be suitable for recent retirees, for students and caring folks in neighboring communities. We would like to provide you with training as well! Having previous experience working with seniors and a high school degree or GED is a plus. But, willingness to be trained, able to work well with older people and with a team is what w are looking for. A Program Assistant functions as part of a professional team and provides personal care services, nutritional services and activities for participants in our Adult Day Services Center, a component of Journey's Way.
